The Melplash Agricultural Show 2012 takes place at the Showground, West Bay, Bridport on Thursday 23rd August.
Attracting around 15,000 visitors a year from town and country, it is no surprise that it is regarded as the South West’s Premier one day Agricultural Show, and is known by regular visitors as the ‘friendly’ Show. Having not lost its original roots, the Melplash Show still remains today a showcase for local farmers, producers, growers and craftsmen in the area. This year there is going to be a great selection of livestock as well as numerous horse, pony and donkey classes to see and compete in. Alongside this will be the opportunity to enter the many horticultural, floral, home produce and handicraft classes. With the cookery theatre, country pursuits arena and over 300 trade stands from local food, crafts to heavy machinery there is plenty to interest everyone.
Every advance adult ticket purchased includes admission for one child.
