- Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival
Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival

The 2012 Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival will take place from Saturday 6th to Sunday 14th October.
Come and walk in some of the most spectacular scenery in England. This Festival offers a choice of guided walks ranging from 5 - 12½ miles and from moderate to strenuous. Leaders are experienced walkers with plenty of local knowledge and expertise.
Walks must be pre-booked. It is best to book early because numbers are limited, but you can book up to and after the Festival starts.
Please visit the Haltwhistle walks web site for full details and also to read Things I Need to Know before you book your walk, to avoid any misunderstanding on the day!
Tickets are not issued for these walks. Joining instructions will be emailed to you before the Festival. Your name will be added to the walk leaders lists and you will be expected at the start of the walk.
PLEASE NOTE:
Heavy rain throughout the summer has produced muddy conditions underfoot. Please be well prepared for this on all walks.
Fully booked walks are numbers 1 (A Long Way Round Day 1), 5 (Autumn Colours Oct 8th), 10 (Woodland Walk & Tea Oct 10th), 12 (Rocks & Railways Oct 11th) and 17 (Fungal Foray Oct 13th).
It is no longer possible to book all 4 days for A Long Way Round.
