Dunster Country Fair is held in the picturesque setting of Dunster Castle Lawns by kind permission of Mr J A. F. Luttrell. This year the fair on Wednesday 29th July will be celebrating 38 years from the early beginnings, as a Donkey Derby held in West Somerset.
Attractions will include Hawkeye Falconry, Bob Hogg’s Sheepdogs and Ducks Display, Chariots of Fire Display Team and Minehead and District Canine Society Annual Dog show. There will be Equestrian events, Exmoor Pony shows, Gun Dog Scurry, Funfair and children’s entertainment, Laser clay pigeon shooting, Archery, Trade Stands, a Craft Tent and demonstrations on the village green. There is plenty of food and liquid refreshment on offer, with luncheon in the marquee always proving very popular.
Tickets will be available on the day: Adults £10; Children (aged 5 - 14 years) £3 and Family (2 adults & 2 children) £22. Under 5s go free. Parking is free. Dogs are welcome on non-extendable leads.
