The 120th Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show will be held on Thursday 25th August 2016. The show opens at 8:30am and closes at 5:30pm.
This unique rural show manages to adhere to its traditional roots whilst still keeping abreast with the ever changing modern agricultural world. It boasts one of the best flower marquees in the South West with free classes run from there throughout the day. There is entertainment for all the family with a wide variety of demonstrations, attractions and displays ongoing all day. An exciting Puissance competition being held in the main ring in the afternoon. The show hosts an excellent range of livestock classes including cattle, sheep, goats and horses, with the champions parading in the grand parade in the main ring. There is a friendly and fun, family dog show, open for everyone to enter. There is a huge variety of trade stands, which offer something for everyone.
Friendly well behaved dogs are welcome, they must be kept on a lead at all times and are not allowed in the goat barn.
Buses run throughout the day from Bude and Holsworthy.
Rain or shine, you will be greeted with the warmest welcome at Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show.
Full price tickets are available on the gate. Admission for adults is £11, children £4 and a family admission (2 adults and 2 children) is £26. Children under the age of 5 are free.
Book your tickets in advance and save time and money. The advance ticket offer will close at 4pm on Monday 22nd August.
With your advance tickets you may also purchase a voucher to exchange on the day for a Show Catalogue which lists all the animal entries as well as show information.
To ensure that you receive your tickets before the show there will now be a first class postage charge of 64p per order.
