Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival 2018

The 2018 Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival will take place from Saturday 29th September to Sunday 7th October.

Come and walk in some of the most spectacular scenery in England. This Festival offers a choice of guided walks of varying distance and from moderate to strenuous. Leaders are experienced walkers with plenty of local knowledge and expertise.

Walks must be pre-booked. It is best to book early because numbers are limited, but you can book up to and after the Festival starts.

Please visit the Haltwhistle walks web site (link above right) for full details and also to read Things I Need to Know before you book your walk, to avoid any misunderstanding on the day!

If a walk is not listed below it will be fully booked. Please contact the Walking Festival office 01434 322025 or haltywalkfest@btinternet.com if you would like to be on the waiting list.

Heavy rain will produce muddy conditions underfoot. Please be well prepared for this on all walks.

Tickets are not issued for these walks. Joining instructions will be emailed to you. Your name will be added to the walk leaders lists and you will be expected at the start of the walk.

Please give us your mobile phone number in case we need to contact you at the last minute.

If you are booking more than one place please email the names of the other walkers to tickets@bradsons.co.uk or haltywalkfest@btinternet.com

Please note that walk 20 has now been upgraded to MODERATE PLUS. Contact the Walks office if you would like extra information.

Bookings for the walks are now being handled by the Walking Festival Office - 01434 322025 or email haltywalkfest@btinternet.com Please leave a message if there is no reply - they may be out walking and will answer your query as soon as they can.
There are still places on some walks and waiting lists are operating for those fully booked.
If you want to cancel your place on a walk please contact the office well in advance. There may be no mobile phone coverage at the start of a walk and the group needs to know not to wait for you.
