Visit the Showground this Easter for an action-packed, hands-on event with food, farming and the countryside at its core.
Meet big and small farmyard animals, learn how to make sausages, bread and cheese with local suppliers, explore tractors old and new, get hands-on with creative activities and have a ride around the Showground on our big tractor and trailer. As well as our eight different zones, full to the brim of things to see, make and do, we’re excited to bring you a packed display ring for you to enjoy – including Ferret Racing and The Sheep Roadshow!
You’re welcome to bring along a picnic for your day out at Countryside Lincs, but we also have plenty of hot and cold food on offer for our visitors as well as a Farmer’s Market to go shopping at. And don’t forget to take part in our Easter Egg hunt too!
With a huge variety of activities and entertainment in both our indoor and outdoor zones, Countryside Lincs is the perfect day out for all the family whatever the weather.
Countryside Lincs is being held at the Lincolnshire Showground on 14 April 2019, and is open from 10am – 4pm. On-the-gate tickets are £20 for a family of four, £8 per adult, £5 per child (aged 5 – 16) and under 5’s go free. There are no concessions for seniors or carers.
Important information for grown-ups:
• The only thing we can’t promise is the sunshine, so please remember to wrap up warm and keep your wellies handy for your adventure at the Showground.
• Car parking is free of charge.
• Toilet and baby changing facilities are available on site.
• This event is organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society. 2019 is a very special year for the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society as we celebrate our 150th Birthday! We’re passionate about promoting the importance of healthy eating and educating people about food, farming and the countryside, and we organise exciting and interactive curriculum-based events throughout the year.
